The Going mobile app

In March 2024, I led the go-to-market launch for Going’s first-ever mobile app - a consumer-facing, company-spanning initiative. This 18-tactic marketing campaign came together from all corners of the company, proving to be one of the most complex and defining projects of my career.

The story

The Going app flips trip planning on its head - start with the deal, not the destination, and save hundreds flying out of your home airport. This video tells the story, made in collaboration with our in-house creative team.

Results

  • 10K beta testers recruited & surveyed

  • 20K+ app pre-orders, 60K+ at launch

  • 250K+ downloads in first summer

  • Reached top 10 in travel and top 100 overall in the App Store

  • Shifted the company to a mobile-first strategy

The landing page

Built to flex and scale, this modular landing page anchored our entire app launch, first as a pre-order hub and later the central destination for the full go-to-market rollout.
